About the Role
As a Nextech HVAC/R Technician, you will diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, perform maintenance, and provide emergency service. You will also document all service details accurately and communicate effectively with customers and dispatchers.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components
- Perform maintenance and emergency service as needed, including after-hours on-call rotations
- Accurately document all service details using company-provided iPads
- Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to the highest standards
- Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery
- Identify additional service opportunities and share them with customers
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R field technician
- May require a Journeyman's License in some states
- May require state specific licenses
- EPA certification and a valid driver’s license
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans
- Basic comfort with mobile apps and technology

Pay
$USD 20.00/Hr - USD 40.00/Hr depending on experience
Schedule
This is a physically active role. You should be able to:
- Safely work at heights using ladders up to 28-32 feet and operate equipment within manufacturer weight limits
- Lift, carry, and maneuver tools and equipment, including extension ladders, up to 100 lbs
- Bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach into confined spaces, and perform twisting, pushing, and pulling tasks
- Maintain physical stamina and endurance for repetitive tasks and extended activity
- Stand, sit, walk, and climb ladders throughout the day
- Use vision, hearing, and verbal communication continuously
- Operate work-related equipment such as iPads, cell phones, and computers
- Occasionally work in an office environment
- Follow all applicable safety procedures
