HVAC/R Service Technician

Mechanical Systems and Service (MSS) is a Crete United company based in West Monroe, LA. MSS is a specialty contractor in heating ventilating and air conditioning. It is a great time to join us as we continue to expand throughout the state and beyond. Our team is looking to hire a Commercial HVAC technician to troubleshoot, maintain and repair HVAC systems. Technician must have 5 years of HVAC Technician Service experience as well as an EPA certification. The position is full-time and offers many great benefits and room for growth within the organization. This position will service the Little Rock AR area and surrounding Counties SW and SE of Little Rock! What You'll Do Perform routine repairs to pump seals, bearing, etc.Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions.Determine customer concerns with HVAC and boiler systems.Follow standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.Record and report faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.Adjust system controls to setting recommended by manufacturer to balance system.Recommend, develop, or perform maintenance procedures such as cleaning, power-washing, or vacuuming equipment, lubricate parts, or changing filters.Install auxiliary components to heating-cooling equipment, such as expansion and discharge valves, air ducts, pipes, blowers, dampers, flues, and stokers, following blueprintsStudy blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturers' recommendations to ascertain the configuration of heating or cooling equipment components and to ensure the proper installation of componentsFabricate, assemble, or install duct work or chassis parts, using portable metal-working tools or welding equipmentOther duties as assigned Position Requirements 5+ years of commercial HVAC maintenance experienceUniversally EPA CertifiedAbility to troubleshoot HVAC components with built up systems and package units, which may include chiller air handler pump towers, cooling towers, control systems, boilers and air handling systemsAbility to learn commercial expertise in boilers, chillers, pneumatic controls, digital controls and packaged HVAC equipmentAbility to read electronic schematicsHigh School diploma/GED required + equivalent work experience Benefits Competitive salariesMedicalDentalVision401(k) planPaid Time OffCareer advancement opportunitiesTraining and Development Please take a look at this video for more information on Crete United!
