HVAC/R Assistant Branch Manager - Light Commercial

About the role

The Light Commercial ASM 1 will support the ASM 2, oversee daily office operations, ensure high-level customer service, maintain efficient office processes, and help achieve sales goals for CoolSys.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality service to both retail and commercial customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Assist in training, motivating, and supervising staff to provide excellent customer service and adhere to company standards.
• Help implement sales strategies to meet or exceed office targets.
• Monitor performance metrics and support the team in achieving commercial goals.
• Assist with stock control, ensuring product availability for retail and business customers.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
• Ensure smooth daily office operations, including opening and closing procedures, and maintain an organized office environment.
• Build and maintain relationships with commercial clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations to provide a safe working environment.
• Assist with office reports, sales analysis, and other administrative tasks as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree in Business, Management, or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in retail, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
• Good understanding of sales strategies and commercial customer needs.
• Familiarity with retail management software and POS systems.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control and stock management.
• Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable State and Federal laws.
• Proficiency with typical business tools including email, Word, and Excel.

Pay

$20–28/hour (DOE).
