What You'll Do
- Support Daily Branch Operations
- Help ensure field operations run efficiently by providing hands-on operational support and leadership.
- Coordinate daily service, maintenance, and installation operations to support productivity and customer commitments.
- Partner with dispatch to optimize scheduling, routing, and technician assignments.
- Aid in workload planning, technician coverage, and operational priorities.
- Identify operational challenges and work with leadership to develop effective solutions.
- Develop and Support Field Teams
- Provide coaching and guidance to technicians, installers, and field supervisors.
- Conduct ride-alongs, job site visits, and quality evaluations.
- Provide feedback focused on technical performance, customer experience, and operational standards.
- Support team meetings, training initiatives, and ongoing development opportunities.
- Partner with leadership and HR on hiring, onboarding, employee development, and performance management.
- Support branch goals related to revenue growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Create accountability around operational expectations and performance standards.
- Champion Safety and Compliance
- Promote a strong safety-first culture throughout field operations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Conduct safety observations and job site evaluations.
- Support incident investigations and corrective action follow-up.
- Affordance with maintaining licensing, permitting, and code compliance requirements.
- Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience
- Support resolution of customer concerns and service escalations.
- Help identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.
- Maintain callbacks, warranty issues, and rework trends.
- Ensure technicians are equipped to deliver a consistent 5-star customer experience.
- Reinforce quality standards from dispatch through job completion.
- Support Operational Excellence
- Partner with warehouse and operations teams to support inventory and material availability.
- Assist with fleet readiness and equipment standards.
- Support vendor coordination and operational needs.
- Aid in ensuring technicians have the tools and resources necessary to complete jobs successfully.
- Assist leadership with branch initiatives and operational projects.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in HVAC or a related skilled trade.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or supporting field teams.
- Strong knowledge of residential HVAC service, maintenance, and installation processes.
- Understanding of local codes, permitting requirements, and safety standards.
- Proven ability to improve operational performance and support business goals.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build relationships while holding teams accountable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ServiceTitan experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
