HVAC OE2 or S2 Mechanic-in house

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Keep trade licenses and certifications current.
• Follow and comply with the rules and regulations of section 608 of the clean air act and occupational safety regulations mandated by federal, state and local governments.
• Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI.
• Follow all NEMSI safety policies, procedures, and use personal protective equipment when performing installation and/or servicing HVAC systems.
• Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.
• Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires

Qualifications

• Connecticut OE2 or S2 license.
• Extensive commercial HVAC systems experience.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Boiler and steam experience a plus

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to walk;
• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel;
• Reach with hands and arms;
• Climb or balance;
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl;
• Talk, hear, smell and lift, set-up and climb ladders as well as stairways.
• Frequent standing and occasional sitting;
• Lift, set-up and climb ladders as well as stairways.
• Regularly lift and /or move various weight ranges such as 0-50 lbs. frequently, 51-100 lbs. occasionally and 101 plus seldom.
