HVAC D2 or S2 Mechanic-in house
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Keep trade licenses and certifications current.
- Follow and comply with the rules and regulations of section 608 of the clean air act and occupational safety regulations mandated by federal, state and local governments.
- Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI.
- Follow all NEMSI safety policies, procedures, and use personal protective equipment when performing installation and/or servicing HVAC systems.
- Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.
- Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires
Qualifications
- Connecticut D2 or S2 license.
- Extensive commercial HVAC systems experience.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Boiler and steam experience a plus
Physical Demands
- Regularly walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Frequent lifting and setting up and climbing ladders as well as stairways.
- Regularly lift and/or move various weight ranges such as 0-50 lbs., 51-100 lbs. occasionally, and 101 plus seldom.
- Maintain close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
