About the Role
The HVAC Helper assists onsite personnel with the installation of HVAC and electrical equipment, cleanup, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities
- Assist onsite personnel with unloading material/equipment and placing it near the project area for staging or installation.
- Maintain good housekeeping while on site.
- Work in confined spaces such as attics, basements, roofs, and crawl spaces.
- Work in areas with heights.
- HVAC: Assist installer with placing and securing trunk, return lines, branch, and take-off lines.
- Electrical: Assist electricians with installation of conduit (EMT/Rigid/PVC), Romex, MC cable, pulling wire, lighting, and lighting controls.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Preferred: Experience in new construction.
- Preferred: 1+ years of experience in the HVAC trade.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, sit, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold, wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.

Schedule
Standard work schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Must be willing to be flexible as job demands may change.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
