HVAC Helper

About the Role

Join Riley Plumbing Heating & Air, a locally owned company serving the Carson Valley and surrounding communities for over 20 years. We're growing our team and looking for an HVAC Helper ready to learn, work hard, and develop into a skilled HVAC professional. This role offers a career path toward becoming a lead technician, running your own truck, and leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with residential HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance
• Learn the skills needed to become a professional HVAC technician
• Help deliver a great customer experience through quality workmanship
• Work safely while building hands-on experience in the trade

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• HVAC experience is a plus, but not required
• HVAC school completion is preferred but not required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in crawlspaces/attics, and climb ladders
• Must have good judgment and common sense

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with your hands and fixing things
• Have mechanical aptitude or enjoy working on vehicles, equipment, or projects
• Willing to work outdoors in hot and cold weather
• Want a long-term career, not just another job
• Dependable, motivated, and ready to learn

Pay

$20-$25/hour (based on experience)
