Job Responsibilities
- Communicate with the customer to determine service needs.
- Schedule and notify technicians of assignments using GPS tracking and dispatching software.
- Receive check-in calls from service technicians and inform them of the next job.
- Support service technicians.
- Maintain customer repair records using the computer database.
- Manage the dispatching board to ensure technician efficiency.
- Manage on-call schedules and notify technicians of their assignments.
- Notify answering service of the schedule and emergency contact numbers.
- Understand and utilize the service work order module and service contract.
- Perform various reporting tasks as needed.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma, additional education a plus.
- Previous dispatching/customer service experience.
- Experience planning and accomplishing goals.
- Ability to handle multiple phone lines and a GPS system.
- Patience and endurance to sit/stand for long periods.
- Customer service-related skills such as a professional and courteous telephone manner.
