HVAC Commercial Service Technician

About the role

As an experienced HVAC Commercial & Residential Service Technician, you would be going into clients' homes and businesses to troubleshoot, perform diagnosis, repair/replace heating and cooling systems, plumbing repairs, and complete assigned preventive maintenance. Candidate must be proficient with all aspects and not limited to packaged rooftop units, gas furnaces, boilers, heat-pumps and cooling systems, humidification and commercial associated controls.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heating and cooling systems, plumbing repairs, and preventive maintenance
• Install, service, trouble-shoot, and repair HVAC systems, residential plumbing, and basic electrical systems
• Service and retrofit/replacement of Commercial HVAC Equipment
• Possess EPA Universal Certification (strongly preferred)
• Current valid drivers license, diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and own set of basic hand tools

Requirements

• Pass background check and drug screen
• Full scope of mechanical service work capability
• Capable of providing mechanical service work including installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems, residential plumbing, and basic knowledge of electrical systems

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC and related fields
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Skills

• EPA Universal Certification (preferred)
• Proficiency with HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems
