HVAC Apprentice / Entry-Level Technician

About the role

Professor Gatsby's Heating & Cooling is seeking a full-time HVAC Technician / Entry-Level Apprentice to join their team. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, enjoy challenging work, and be committed to learning the HVAC trade.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians in the field as needed
• Receive hands-on training in an exciting industry
• Diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems
• Help lead customers to informed decisions
• Assist in troubleshooting heating and cooling system malfunctions
• Save the day with correct repairs for customers

Requirements

• EPA certification
• Can lift 50 lbs
• Willing and able to work from heights and/or small crawl spaces
• Driver’s license with a clean driving record

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined
• Strong people skills
• Enjoy working on a team
• Takes direction and critique well
• Has a teachable spirit
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented

Benefits

• Competitive beginning wage of $17-$22/hour
• Typical full-time Monday-Friday workweek with hours from 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm
