Entry-Level HVAC Apprentice

About the role

Alber Service Company of Pennsauken, NJ is seeking a full-time Entry-Level HVAC Apprentice to learn the heating and cooling trade under experienced technicians. The position offers a competitive starting wage of $18.00-$20.00 per hour, along with exceptional benefits including health, dental, and a retirement plan. Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians in the field to learn installation and service techniques.
• Shadow and assist other technicians to gain hands-on experience.
• Learn core values and expand heating and cooling knowledge and skillset.
• Work in various environments, including those requiring physical labor and working from heights or small crawl spaces.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to physically lift up to 50 lbs and work from heights or small crawl spaces.
• Experience using tools and equipment is preferred, but not required.
• Function well in a team environment.
• Be self-motivated and interested in a career as a heating and cooling technician.
• Show good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Be respectful of others and their property.
• Commit to doing quality work and motivated to continually improve skills.
• Show organizational skills and follow through on tasks.
