Hunter Recruitment Coordinator (Learning & Development Specialist 2)
About the role
As a Hunter Recruitment Coordinator (Learning and Development Specialist 2) in Salem, Oregon, you will work with Education staff, agency partners, local sporting groups, and volunteers to deliver statewide programs, with a focus on Oregon’s major population centers.
Responsibilities
- Develop hunting and shooting skills-based programs
- Coordinate delivery of shooting sports and hunting workshops
- Serve as the Department’s primary facilitator and coordinator
Requirements
This role requires five years of work experience designing, planning, and implementing adult education courses, or applying web-based technologies in a blended learning environment; OR five years of work experience designing, planning, and implementing organizational development strategies.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Psychology, Business or Public Administration, Training and Development, Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, or related field may substitute for three years of the work experience stated above.
Skills
Experience developing and implementing curriculum or training programs
Experience creating and implementing strategies to increase participation in hunting and shooting sports
Experience developing, scheduling, conducting and evaluating training programs
Demonstrated knowledge of hunter education, shooting sports, hunting, archery, bowhunting, equipment, and range safety
Demonstrated knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends regarding hunting and shooting sports
Experience with Microsoft Office and data/presentation software

The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect an additional 6.95%
Pay
The salary range is $5,714 - $8,764
