Human Services Analyst

Description of Work

This position supports data analysis, system coordination, and operational processes that guide Managed Care membership and claims functions.

• Data Analysis: Review membership and claims information to identify issues and verify accuracy
• Problem Resolution: Assist in researching and resolving system, enrollment, and batch processing concerns
• System Coordination: Support system changes by working with programmers, analysts, and partner agencies
• Communication Support: Provide clear written and verbal explanations to staff, partners, and providers
• Project Participation: Take part in meetings, studies, and workgroups that influence policies and processes
• Operational Review: Evaluate program procedures to ensure that system logic and enrollment processes follow requirements

Work Schedule and Additional Information

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to three days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview

Qualifications

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor's degree; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs
