About the Role

Conrad Indianapolis is seeking a Human Resources / Training Manager to join the team. This role offers an opportunity to grow your career within a Fortune 500 company and a sophisticated luxury brand. As the city's first true luxury hotel and Indiana's only Forbes-recommended hotel, this 23-story tower features 247 guest rooms, 15,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, and two food and beverage outlets: The Capital Grille and The Lounge, along with in-room dining. The hotel is home to the city’s only hotel spa and connects via skywalk to The Arts Garden and The Indiana Convention Center.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of experience in a Training/HR Manager role, preferably in hospitality, and is bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily HR operations, including recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations, compliance, safety, and performance management, ensuring adherence to corporate HR policies and federal/local regulations.
  • Foster team member engagement through initiatives such as recognition programs, special events, and engagement activities to create a positive workplace culture.
  • Manage HR systems and compliance, including team member data management, employment transitions, report generation, and unemployment claims processing.
  • Inspire and develop the team by supervising, coaching, and mentoring team members; conducting performance evaluations; providing professional development opportunities; and recognizing achievements to build, retain, and engage a high-performing team.
