Responsibilities

• Orientation of new hires
• Monthly retraining for all employees
• Additional training as needed
• Scheduling and preparation of all training
• Creating training materials, including training films as necessary
• Record keeping of all training in Excel spreadsheets
• Maintaining Employee Qualifications list; coordinating and communicating with supervisors
• Responsible for the organization and appearance of the Training Room
• Other duties as assigned

This is a safety sensitive position. This is an ON-SITE position.

Qualifications

• Must have production experience in a beef processing environment
• 2 to 5 years of applicable experience is preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly encouraged or must be willing to take classes
• Must have strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel as well as a working knowledge of HMS
• Must be committed to the safety of all employees
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
• Availability to work all shifts, flexible hours, flexible days/evenings to include weekends and holidays
• Conceptual/Analytical thinking
• Attention to detail
• Problem solving
• Leadership skills with the ability to effectively train and mentor employees
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and self-starter
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
