About the role
Talent Acquisition Specialists recruit and onboard talent while ensuring compliance with policies.
Responsibilities
- Develop recruitment policies: Create strategies for attracting top talent.
- Analyze hiring needs: Work with managers to determine job requirements and candidate profiles.
- Source candidates: Use various channels to find qualified candidates.
- Screen and interview: Manage resume screenings, conduct interviews, and coordinate the selection process.
- Build relationships: Maintain relationships with applicants and past employees.
- Represent the organization: Attend job fairs and events to promote TAIRC.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in recruitment.
- Create onboarding processes.
- Build relationships with universities and agencies.
- Track hiring data.
- Develop job descriptions.
- Coordinate interviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field.
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment and talent management.
Engagement pathways and compensation status
TAIRC is currently building its funding base. Opportunities identified as volunteer or unpaid do not provide compensation at this stage. Any future paid appointment would require available funding, organizational approval, applicable legal compliance, and a separate written agreement. Participation does not guarantee future employment or compensation.
