Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment & Placement)
Duties Summary
This position is being filled under a stream-lined hiring authority, Title 21 of the United States Code (21 US Code 379d-3a) as amended by the 21st Century Cures Act of 2016, section 3072 and the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023, Section 3624. The candidate selected for this position will serve under a career or career-conditional appointment and be paid under the provisions of this authority.
Requirements
Relevant Years of Experience: Applicants must meet the following relevant years of experience to qualify for this AD-0201- Band C (GS-13 equivalent) position: Six (6) years comparable experience in federal staffing and recruitment, including posting job announcements, reviewing applicants, and advising managers on hiring rules and procedures using an automated Staffing system; setting salaries in accordance with federal pay regulations and providing guidance on complex staffing issues to ensure all actions comply with federal laws and agency policies.

This position is located in the Office of Operations, Office of Talent Solutions, which provides high quality and efficient Human Resources solutions that enable the FDA to hire a talented and qualified workforce.
