About the role

The Human Resources Specialist will help The Madison by facilitating efficient HR operations by managing employee records, coordinating recruitment processes, providing administrative support and assisting with staff training.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in employee onboarding, new hire coordination, and off-boarding.
  • Maintain HRIS, employee files, and internal company tools with accurate employee information.
  • Facilitate employee and management training programs.
  • Respond in a timely manner to employee questions and requests related to HR functions including on-boarding, benefits, employment, and payroll.
  • Support Sr. HR Manager with employee relations investigations.
  • Manage employee housing process (beginning and ending walkthroughs).
  • Aid in various HR and recruiting projects as needed, including updating the applicant tracking system with candidate status.
  • Assist with other HR projects as needed and requested by the Senior HR Manager, GM, or Project President.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is highly desirable, though comparable work experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Bilingual in Spanish required.
  • Experience with MS Office suite.
  • HRIS Experience; Workday experience desired.
  • Recruiting / Talent Acquisition experience a plus.

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Experience with MS Office suite.
  • HRIS Experience; Workday experience desired.
  • Recruiting / Talent Acquisition experience a plus.

Pay

The Company’s good faith estimate of the salary rate expected to pay for this role is $33 - $35 hourly and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

Schedule

The schedule for this role is flexible and will be determined based on the needs of the department and the individual.
