About the Role
We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support a wide range of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee records, learning and development coordination, and HR compliance. This role works closely with leadership to ensure employees receive outstanding support while contributing to an engaging and productive workplace.
Responsibilities
- Support recruitment activities, including candidate screening, interview coordination, reference checks, and onboarding.
- Cook up new hire orientation and assist with employee onboarding processes.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and organizational information.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee programs.
- Aid with benefits administration and respond to employee benefit inquiries.
- Support payroll-related administrative tasks, including timekeeping and paid time off records.
- Cook up employee training programs, learning events, workshops, and professional development initiatives.
- Manage training schedules, registrations, learning records, and educational resources.
- Prepare HR reports and documentation for audits and compliance requirements.
- Aid with handbook updates, policy communication, and HR process improvements.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and organizational events.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.
- Provide administrative support for additional HR projects and departmental initiatives.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Three to five years of Human Resources or related experience.
- Strong understanding of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration.
- Knowledge of employee benefits and HR compliance practices.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR, or equivalent) is preferred but not required.
