About the role
The Recruiting Coordinator supports the planning, implementation, and maintenance of talent acquisition. They assist with sourcing, prescreening, scheduling, and guiding candidates through the hiring process, working closely with the Human Resources team and hiring managers.
Responsibilities
- Source and reach out to qualified candidates for current open positions.
- Serve as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers.
- Conduct initial phone screens with qualified candidates.
- Screen applications in the applicant tracking system and coordinate interviews while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
- Familiarize candidates with corporate benefit programs and answer related questions.
- Complete prescreening interview summaries.
- Assist with creating and publishing job ads in various portals.
- Network with educational institutions and professional groups.
- Track hiring metrics, including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and source of hire.
- Manage candidate pools to keep qualified candidates engaged for current or future opportunities.
- Host and participate in job fairs as needed.
- Support the HR onboarding team as required.
- Assist with promoting and implementing leadership and team member appreciation initiatives.
- Perform other duties associated with the role as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience with recruiting initiatives.
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques and job posting portals.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Qualifications
An associate degree or bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field is preferred. A minimum of three years of relevant working experience in Human Resources is required.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged sitting, with some bending, stooping, and stretching.
- Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate office equipment such as keyboards, photocopiers, telephones, and calculators.
- Normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate reports.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions.
Schedule
Monday - Thursday: 8 AM - 5 PM
Friday: 8 AM - 2 PM
