Human Resources, Payroll, Communication Clerk

About the Role

National Beef of North Baltimore, Ohio, is seeking a Human Resources/Payroll/Communications Clerk to join our team. This is an on-site position with a schedule of 8-hour days between the hours of 6:30 AM and 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain employee timecards to ensure payroll accuracy
• Process payroll
• Answer employee questions concerning their weekly paychecks
• Assist with new hire orientation and paperwork
• Assist with employee meat purchase program
• Maintain strict confidentiality
• Facilitate plant and social media communications, including location newsletter
• Filing and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Excellent office and math skills
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Willing and capable of quickly learning Kronos, AS400, and iCIMS
• Friendly disposition and welcoming personality
• High energy and highly motivated
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and contribute to a team-oriented environment
• Strong work ethic
• Experience working with a collective bargaining agreement
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship provided)
