Human Resources Intern

About the role

Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company supporting the Department of Defense and intelligence community customers, is searching for a college student to join their team in Huntsville during their fall 2026 semester. The intern will work part-time and gain industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the migration of employee electronic records into the Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
• Review employee records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
• Organize and clean the HR file room, including inventorying, archiving, and securely disposing of records in accordance with company retention policies.
• Support HR administrative projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Aid with various benefit administration tasks, such as tracking, maintaining, and monitoring data and providing necessary reports.
• Assist in tracking workforce training and development.
• Participate in exit interviews and process required termination paperwork.
• Conduct regular communication with employees to ensure positive employee relations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Senior college student seeking a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or in Human Resource Management.
• Current 3.5 GPA. (GPA must be listed on resume to be considered).
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Possess a strong ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills.
• Show strong problem-solving ability with prioritization and attention to detail.
• Possess strong organizational and planning skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with HRIS systems.
• Willingness to pursue SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) after gaining experience in the field.
