Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
- Aid in job postings across various recruitment platforms.
- Screen resumes and coordinate candidate interviews.
- Schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
- Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records and candidate communications.
HR Operations & Administration
- Assist with onboarding and new hire orientation activities.
- Support employee file audits and document management.
- Maintain HR records while ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy.
- Afford support for employment verification requests and personnel documentation.
- Afford assistance with HRIS data entry and reporting activities.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Afford support for employee recognition programs and engagement initiatives.
- Support planning and coordination of company events and wellness activities.
- Create internal communications and HR-related materials.
- Gather employee feedback and afford assistance with engagement surveys.
Compliance & HR Projects
- Afford support for I-9 audits, training tracking, and compliance documentation.
- Afford support for HR policy updates and process improvement initiatives.
- Afford participation in HR reporting and workforce data analysis.
- Afford completion of special projects related to talent management, training, compensation, or organizational development.
Learning Objectives
- Understand core Human Resources functions and best practices.
- Gain exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle.
- Develop professional communication and organizational skills.
- Learn HR compliance fundamentals and employment documentation processes.
- Build experience working with HR systems, reporting tools, and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate student preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship, campus leadership, customer service, or administrative experience.
- Familiarity with HR concepts, employment law, or recruiting processes.
- Experience with HRIS, ATS, or data management systems is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in an office environment and use standard office equipment.
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
Pay & Schedule
Hourly compensation during the internship: $15-$30.
The position is fully onsite, and the work schedule is weekdays from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
