The Human Resources Intern provides administrative and operational support to the HR team by assisting with employee records management, document digitization, event coordination, and general office administration. This position offers hands-on experience in HR operations while supporting initiatives that improve recordkeeping, employee engagement, and departmental efficiency. This role is an on-site position supporting Human Resources at Hale Products in Ocala, FL. Hale Products is a leading manufacturer of fire pumps, valves, and foam systems, delivering reliable water flow solutions trusted by fire and emergency response professionals worldwide. It operates as a business unit within IDEX Corporation’s Fire & Safety group, alongside other major rescue and fire‑protection brands. Responsibilities
- Scan, upload, and organize employee and HR-related documents.
- Maintain and update physical and electronic personnel files.
- Audit employee files for completeness and accuracy.
- Assist with document retention, archiving, and records management projects.
- Ensure confidential information is handled appropriately and securely.
- Help distribute communications, promotional materials, and event-related resources.
