Purpose
Camaco LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Intern to support the HR department with personnel file management and employee onboarding activities. This part-time role offers hands-on experience in Human Resources operations and is ideal for someone interested in developing practical HR skills.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Audit and organize employee personnel files to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Create and maintain electronic personnel records
- Scan, upload, and properly file HR documents
- Assist with hourly employee interviewing
- Support new hire orientation for hourly employees
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HR record-keeping requirements
- Assist with general HR administrative duties as needed

Qualifications
- Required Education & Experience: Currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred); High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Competencies: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; Effective communication and interpersonal skills; Basic computer skills, including experience with scanning and electronic filing systems; Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion; Dependable and able to work independently
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting with occasional plant floor visits and observation.
