About the role
The Human Resources Information Systems Specialist (HRIS) plays a crucial role in managing and enhancing HRIS systems within the organization. This individual is responsible for ensuring data integrity, facilitating system updates, and providing support to HR staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain HRIS systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with HR staff to identify system improvements and new functionalities.
- Provide technical support and training to HR staff on using HRIS systems.
- Perform regular system audits and data checks to maintain data integrity.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in HRIS management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HRIS administration or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS software and database management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access.
- Experience with SQL and other database languages is a plus.
