About the role
This is a career-defining opportunity to lead key aspects of HRIS selection, implementation, and optimization, while partnering directly with the HR Director to shape future HR operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the HRIS selection process, including RFP development and vendor evaluations
- Own end-to-end implementation (evaluation → configuration → rollout → optimization)
- Configure and customize systems to support HR and business workflows
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and system performance through audits and monitoring
- Build reports, dashboards, and analytics to drive business decisions
- Manage system integrations (APIs) and cross-functional enhancements
- Provide training and mentorship to HRIS team members
Current Project Focus
- The organization is transitioning from Paycom to a new HRIS platform.
- Systems under consideration include: Workday, SAP, ADP, Rippling, Oracle.
- Experience across multiple HRIS platforms and participation in system selection is highly valued.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of HRIS experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Paycom (required)
- Proven success leading or supporting full-cycle HRIS implementations
- Experience with RFP processes and vendor selection
- Strong technical skills in system configuration and administration
- Solid understanding of HR data and processes
What We’re Looking For
- Nice to have: Experience with platforms such as Workday, SAP, ADP, Rippling, or Oracle
- Familiarity with Paylocity or similar tools
- Prior experience mentoring junior team members
