Human Resources (HR) & Payroll Coordinator

About the role

We are currently searching for an HR & Payroll Coordinator to join our friendly, caring and supportive team at Northgate Care Center. Northgate Care Center is rapidly growing and we are looking to invest in a Human Resources Director by providing opportunities to further your career and with the tools and encouragement you need to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Human Resources department
• Aid department managers with all aspects of personnel matters
• Process facility payroll
• Pre-screen and on-board all facility new hires
• Maintain positive employee engagement
• Ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Northgate Care Center

Requirements

• As a minimum, a high school diploma and two (2) years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a health care setting
• A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or similar field, five (5) years of prior Human Resources Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting, and PHR or SPHR certification is preferable

• Knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure residents are comfortable and safe
