Responsibilities
- Direct daily human resources activities, ensuring policies, practices, and workflows are administered consistently and effectively.
- Guide managers and employees through workplace concerns, performance discussions, and resolution of employee relations matters.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify staffing needs, support recruitment efforts, and strengthen retention planning.
- Monitor adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations while helping maintain alignment with company standards.
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration and contribute to programs that promote employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Lead onboarding activities and support training and development initiatives that help employees succeed in their roles.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation, employee files, and reporting to support compliance and informed decision-making.
- Recommend and implement improvements to HR systems, reporting tools, and administrative processes to increase efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of progressive human resources experience, including leadership or management responsibility.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law, compliance obligations, and established HR practices.
- Experience supporting recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and HR operations.
- Proficiency with HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- HR certification with strong attention to detail is considered an advantage.
