Human Resources (HR) Assistant
Responsibilities
- Clock-in and clock-out management
- Employee onboarding and offboarding
- Pre-employment screening follow-up
- Onboarding paperwork preparation
- Orientation scheduling
- Maintain and update employee information in HR systems
- Prepare documents and track tasks for HR programs
- Respond to routine employee inquiries
- Aid in employee relations by routing questions and documenting conversations
- Support HRIS-related processes, including data entry, status updates, and system record maintenance
- Partner with internal teams to ensure recruitment and onboarding steps are completed on time and aligned with company procedures
Requirements
- Experience providing administrative support within a human resources environment
- Working knowledge of HRIS platforms, including exposure to systems such as Paylocity
- Familiarity with onboarding coordination and pre-employment screening processes
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with employees and internal stakeholders
