About the role
RiseWell Community Services is looking for a full-time Human Resources Generalist I to join our HR team and work in our West Babylon, NY Headquarters. This individual is responsible for the administrative functions of the HR department and will assist its Director to ensure effectiveness and efficiency across daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the maintenance of accurate and complete personnel records
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and all state and federal regulations
- Execute on maintenance and reporting for HRIS, ADP, Learning Management Systems, and outside vendors
- Act as a liaison between third party vendors and management
- Coordinate all necessary information and scheduling for onboarding and employee orientations
- Post job openings on internal and external platforms while tracking and monitoring progress of postings
- Enter and maintain accurate employee data in HR system and Excel
- Respond to department inquiries
- Schedule and organize HR meetings and events
- Maintain and organize virtual personnel files in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
- Assist with filing, copying, and distributing HR documents as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR support role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS (ADP)
- Excellent organizational skills and multitasking abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a standard Monday through Friday schedule.
