Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Human Resources Generalist for our Physician Enterprise and Support Center who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
Responsibilities
- Performs day-to-day HR functions (employee relations support, unemployment administration, and operational metrics tracking, e.g., worker’s compensation, Family Medical Leave, HR Acuity, licensure).
- Travels to various AMG Medical Group offices as needed.
- Prepares turnover and other data metrics to share with leadership using AHC’s Standard Management templates.
- Tracks and follows-up with managers regarding 30/60/90-day check-ins, annual Performance Development Plans (PDP), annual health requirements (flu vaccinations, FIT testing, etc.), and annual required learning.
- Conducts 90-day and exit interviews and communicates findings with HR Business Partner (HRBP).
- Takes initiative to improve service levels by assessing processes and programs and working with the HRBP to refine them.
- Works collaboratively with the HRBP to provide excellent human resources support across the campus by working with leadership and staff to promote and successfully accomplish AHC initiatives (Onboarding, PDP, Workday Learning, engagement surveys, etc.).
- Coordinates AMG externship program.
- Assists in implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures and trains managers on various policies and practices.
- Assists leadership and staff by answering questions and providing training in various areas including, but not limited to, Workday and UKG.
- Maintains HR files in Workday including compliance documents and Electronic Filing.
- Serves as a back-up to the HRBP, as needed and appropriate.
- Performs other duties as necessary and appropriate for the role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field.
- Three or more years of HR experience.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
- Workday experience preferred.
Schedule
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Hours per Week: 40 hours/week
- Typical Daily Schedule: 8 am–5 pm, Monday through Friday
- Shift Type: Day Shift
- Holiday Requirements: Follow the company holiday calendar
Pay
Pay Range: $57,606.24 – $83,532.80
Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as exempt.
