About the role
ViewSonic is seeking an HR Generalist to execute both recruitment and core employee relations functions at our Southern California offices (Brea & Chino).
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including resume screening, candidate evaluations, sourcing, ATS maintenance, reference checks, and interview coordination with hiring managers.
- Cook up the end-to-end hiring administration process, from drafting job descriptions and facilitating requisition and offer approvals to creating new-hire employee records.
- Cook up the onboarding process, including processing new hire documentation, scheduling and leading orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and general workplace matters.
- Aid managers and employees with conflict resolution, performance management procedures, and the documentation of performance plans.
- Support the HR Director with internal investigations and the resolution of sensitive employee relations issues in compliance with company guidelines.
- Maintain employee files, job requisitions, I-9 documentation, workers’ compensation records, and related HR files to ensure compliance.
- Provide support for the planning and coordination of company events, including employee gatherings, town halls, and recognition programs.
- Perform other administrative duties and HR projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of professional HR experience, including a combination of recruitment and employee relations functions.
- Strong experience with HRIS platforms (UKG or similar), ATS tools, and MS Office.
- Experience utilizing AI-enabled tools (such as Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar) to streamline workflows, support recruiting efforts, and improve operational efficiency.
- Strong communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, and professional objectivity.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks concurrently, and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency.
- High level of integrity and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is desirable but not required.

Schedule
