Human Resources Generalist
About the role
The HR Generalist plays a crucial role in fostering Therma's commitment to its employees by supporting the implementation of HR strategies and procedures across the business unit. Reporting directly to the HR Business Partner, the HR Generalist collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and acts as a bridge to ensure the HR function operates smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the implementation of Legence's HR strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
- Partner with the HRBP and Talent Acquisition (TA) team in the recruitment and selection process and ensure the recruitment and onboarding experience embodies Legence’s and the Business Unit’s values.
- Support the performance management and development of employees by effectively partnering with the HRBP and Talent Development (TD) team in the roll out and management of development initiatives including Succession Planning, Employee Engagement, and Performance Management and Development while identifying training needs, and assisting in coordinating training programs.
- Identify employee relations issues and work with the HRBP to address issues with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency, while working towards timely and satisfactory resolutions.
- Manage the maintenance of HR records and files in compliance with legal requirements, including personnel files, performance review documentation, and recruitment records.
- Keep up to date on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and help to ensure compliance.
- Affirm Legence's employee policies and procedures, ensuring their consistent application across the business unit.
- Participate in the development of department goals, objectives, and systems, embodying Legence's commitment to continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an HR environment.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation & benefits, employee relations, training & development, talent acquisition, HR compliance, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred.

- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in the complete Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Pay
$75k-$90k, depending on experience. This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus. Bonus eligibility and payout are determined by role, individual performance, and company performance, and are not guaranteed.
