Pay

Annual salary range: $62,613.88 – $93,920.82 (midpoint $78,267.35). Actual salaries vary based on skills and experience. This range is the base hiring salary and is one component of the total rewards/compensation package.

Location: Yuma Medical Center

Summary

Under the direction of the Human Resources Leadership team, performs a variety of professional-level Human Resources services, including serving as an informational resource for employee relations, HR analytics, recruitment, benefits, organizational development, and compensation. Uses available resources and data to make recommendations and resolve issues in accordance with practices, policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with key Human Resources team members to research, resolve issues, and complete assigned projects; make HR recommendations aligned with policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Assist in the initial intake and resolution of job-related complaints and concerns, proactively identifying and responding to employee relations issues; escalate concerns as appropriate.
  • Provide assistance to HR specialty areas such as Benefits, Compensation, Organizational Development, and Recruitment as assigned.
  • Research and prepare required documentation for HR-related tasks, including unemployment claims, leave management, conflict resolution, and other employment-related claims.
  • Manage HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Measure, assess, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of HR services by analyzing data and offering solutions to manage problematic trends for assigned projects.
  • Partner with leadership across the organization on employee engagement initiatives and action plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and/or requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (required).
  • One year of human resources or healthcare experience (preferred).
  • Human Resources certification (preferred).
