About the Role
Our client is a long-established, growing organization with a strong focus on providing quality products at an exceptional value. With a fast-paced warehouse and distribution operation, they are seeking an HR Generalist who can build strong relationships, support employees and leaders, and help create a positive, productive workplace culture. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys a hands-on environment and wants to make an impact across employee relations, recruiting, payroll coordination, engagement, retention, and workforce initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers, addressing employee relations, workplace concerns, performance management, and coaching.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, staffing agency relationships, onboarding, and orientation for warehouse, sales, and office positions.
- Coordinate weekly payroll processing, resolve discrepancies, maintain accurate records, and partner with the PEO to ensure timely and accurate payroll.
- Support employee benefits, workers' compensation, leave requests, accommodations, and return-to-work processes.
- Maintain accurate HRIS, timekeeping, and personnel records while tracking key HR metrics such as turnover, attendance, and time-to-fill.
- Partner with leadership on employee engagement, retention, recognition, and workplace culture initiatives, including stay and exit interviews.
- Support general HR and office operations, including employee communications, training, events, scheduling, special projects, and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, with 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience; warehouse/distribution experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with weekly payroll processing, including commissions or incentive pay, and supporting both hourly and salaried employees.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, performance management, and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence employees and leaders at all levels.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality; Spanish proficiency and experience implementing an Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) are a plus.

Pay
$75,000–$85,000 annually, based on experience.
