About the role
We are searching for a Human Resources Generalist to join our employee-focused community. This role manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs, and plays a key part in building a positive facility culture across multiple care centers. Travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead HR departments for multiple skilled-nursing care centers.
- Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to facility management, team members, and HR Coordinator staff.
- Direct and oversee the work of full-time employees within the care centers.
- Assist department heads with recruitment, hiring, orientation, and training for staff to carry out facility programs and services.
- Design and implement recruitment and retention programs for care centers.
- Evaluate candidates and make significant hiring recommendations; recommendations on HR employees’ employment status are given substantial weight.
- Develop and lead employee recognition and engagement programs and initiatives.
- Maintain and guide the implementation of facility HR policies and procedures in compliance with corporate, state, federal, and other regulatory guidelines.
- Create and implement new ideas and concepts to improve systems and processes and achieve superior results.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Organization Development.
- SPHR or PHR certification preferred.
- Minimum of four years of related experience in Human Resources.
- Long-term-care (LTC) experience preferred.
- Must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
