Human Resources Generalist
Responsibilities
- Aid in recruiting by handling applicant screening, calendar entries, background checks, reference checks, offer letters, and relocation, as applicable.
- Coordinate new hire orientation processes.
- Manage post-offer testing and background checks.
- Prepare benefit enrollment meeting materials and enrollment documents.
- Create and maintain wage, position, and level change documents for approval.
- Document and track employee disciplinary actions.
- Update the HR communication television system with provided content.
- Maintain and update records in the HRIS system.
- Administer security badges and notify of personnel changes.
- Order quarterly recognition items as requested.
- Assist with payroll as needed.
- Prepare weekly and monthly HR reports.
- Manage points in attendance log through HRIS system.
- Support payroll as needed.
- Assist with HR administration as assigned.
Qualifications
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or equivalent experience, required.
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Previous experience using HRIS software preferred.
- Detail-oriented and able to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Working knowledge of labor laws and requirements preferred.
- Two-to-four years of experience in Human Resources preferred.
- PREFERRED: PHR/SHRM certification.
Pay
The starting salary for this position is expected to be between $60,000 to $70,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Position may also be eligible for Amcor's Management Incentive Plan/Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits.
