Responsibilities
- Evaluate existing People Operations workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, AI technologies, and process redesign.
- Lead the implementation and adoption of AI-powered solutions across core HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, compliance, employee ticketing, and reporting.
- Establish measurable adoption goals and track business impact.
- Transform the team's operating model from manual, checklist-based processes to scalable, automated, and data-informed workflows through effective change management.
- Identify and implement scalable, cost-effective operational improvements that strengthen People Operations infrastructure, increase automation, and responsibly leverage AI technologies.
People Management & Team Development
- Lead and develop a team of experienced HR Operations professionals by strengthening their capabilities in operational excellence, automation, and scalable process design.
- Establish clear performance expectations, provide regular coaching and feedback, and hold team members accountable for measurable business outcomes.
- Develop team expertise in systems thinking, workflow optimization, and automation technologies.
Program & Project Management
- Develop and execute operational strategies that improve People Operations processes throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
- Lead the planning, implementation, documentation, and continuous improvement of HR initiatives and projects that align with organizational objectives and deliver measurable operational efficiencies.
- Manage HR projects from initiation through completion while ensuring stakeholder engagement, timely execution, and successful delivery.
- Create detailed project plans, document processes, allocate resources, manage project budgets, and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
- Oversee HR compliance initiatives and audits while ensuring adherence to SOX requirements, local employment laws, internal policies, and strong internal control standards.
- Enhance People Operations service delivery by optimizing employee support processes through ticketing systems, leveraging performance metrics and employee feedback to improve responsiveness, accuracy, and service quality.
Global Workforce Planning & HR Systems
- Oversee global People Operations activities while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations across multiple regions.
- Partner with HR systems and analytics teams to ensure technology decisions support operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to manage the organization's Contractor Program, including vendor management, contractor onboarding, offboarding, tracking, and compliance.
HR Program Alignment
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Compensation, Learning & Development, and other HR functions to ensure People Operations processes align with business needs and support seamless cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in People Operations or HR Operations with a proven track record of scaling HR functions within high-growth organizations.
- Demonstrated success leading teams through operational transformation by modernizing processes, improving efficiency, and driving sustainable organizational change.
- Hands-on experience implementing AI technologies, workflow automation, and process redesign initiatives within HR Operations.
- Strong leadership experience managing high-performing teams, including performance management, coaching, and guiding employees through organizational change.
- Practical experience evaluating and implementing HR technologies, including HRIS platforms, workflow automation tools, and employee ticketing systems.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, SOX regulations, and global employment law principles.
- Data-driven approach with experience using metrics to establish performance benchmarks, measure progress, and support operational improvements.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to lead challenging conversations and effectively influence team members, peers, and senior leadership.
Pay
$200k to $242k annually.
