Human Resources Director
About The Position
Paradise Irrigation District, California Human Resources Director Part-Time 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Provides executive-level leadership, strategic direction, and policy development direction for the District’s human resources and labor relations functions.
- Establishes policy frameworks, organizational systems, and alignment strategies to support workforce management, regulatory compliance, safety coordination, and risk management.
- Serves as the District’s principal advisor on human resources and labor relations, supporting the District Manager.
- Serves as the supervisor, developing, and providing oversight to the Human Resources & Payroll Manager, ensuring HR and payroll functions are administered effectively and in alignment with District policy and strategic direction.
Requirements
- A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Five (5)+ years in public sector HR leadership, organizational development, or executive advisory roles.
- Prior supervisory experience required.
- California public agency experience highly desirable.
