Human Resources Coordinator – Recruiting & Talent Development

Responsibilities

  • Production Recruiting Support (Approximately 50%)
    • Support the recruitment process for hourly production and manufacturing positions.
    • Post job openings on recruiting platforms, company websites, and social media channels.
    • Review applications and screen candidates against minimum qualifications.
    • Schedule phone screens, interviews, and hiring events such as job fairs, community recruiting events, and local workforce initiatives.
    • Maintain candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
    • Communicate with candidates regarding application status, interview schedules, and hiring requirements.
    • Coordinate pre-employment activities including background checks, drug screenings, and employment documentation.
    • Assist with onboarding preparation for new hires as well as facilitation of orientation scheduling and communication.
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Talent Development Administration (Approximately 50%)
    • Provide full-day support for training events, including setup, attendee materials, food and beverage coordination, classroom monitoring, supply management, and end-of-day cleanup and reset.
    • Create and distribute calendar invitations for training programs, meetings, and development activities.
    • Provide administrative support for training and employee development initiatives including scheduling training sessions and reserving meeting rooms.
    • Create financial approval requests (investment authorization) with information supplied by the L&D Specialist.
    • Prepare training packets, attendance records, evaluations, and participant communications.
    • Maintain training calendars and training records.
    • Generate reports and KPIs related to tracking training attendance and completion.
    • Maintain organized electronic and paper records related to talent development programs.

Requirements

Education: Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of administrative office support; including recruiting, training coordination or similar experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing or production recruiting.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, events, or training programs.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:

  • Creative presentation skills and ability to speak publicly.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to learn Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and other HR technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is a plus.
