Human Resources Coordinator--Payroll

Responsibilities

• Aid in the accurate processing of weekly payroll, managing wage garnishments and other deductions.
• Prepare reporting and conduct audits of employee timecards, earnings, deductions, and taxes prior to payroll processing.
• Calculate and process bonuses, retroactive pay, and other special earnings.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll and compensation information.
• Support in reconciling W-2s and assist in maintaining comprehensive records for compliance and reporting needs.
• Train new employees and managers on payroll and time and attendance systems.
• Respond to inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
• Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general equivalency degree.
• Trustworthiness to handle sensitive, confidential information.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees and other departments.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred but not required).
• Customer service skills to serve employees in an appropriate manner.
• Previous experience in Payroll (preferred but not required).

Pay

• $18.35 to $27.53 per hour, plus bonus opportunity.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday; 8:00-5:00
