Key Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately, review timekeeping, and ensure compliance with California wage laws.
- Maintain data integrity within HRIS systems, reconcile discrepancies, and support year-end payroll tasks.
- Afford assistance with full-cycle onboarding, employee file maintenance, recruitment coordination, and HR communications.
- Support employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, and compliance efforts.
- Contribute to HR projects, audits, and reporting, providing front-line support to staff and management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate's or Bachelor's preferred.
- 2-3 years payroll processing experience, preferably in logistics or manufacturing.
- 1-2 years HR generalist experience, including onboarding and employee relations.
- Proficiency with payroll/HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and knowledge of California wage laws.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
Work Environment
- Primarily office-based within a warehouse setting, with occasional warehouse floor exposure.
- May require travel between facilities.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred.
