Human Resources Coordinator (Part-Time): Limited-Term
About the role
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator provides administrative and operational support across multiple HR divisions, including but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Employee Benefits, Employee Relations, Risk Management, Organizational Development, and Compensation. This position plays an integral role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and may be assigned to one or more divisions based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and facilitates human resources functions throughout the employment lifecycle.
- Updates and maintains HR records, databases, systems, and HR processes/standard operating procedures.
- Inputs, changes, and updates information and records promptly, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, completeness in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Tracks relevant data and compiles reports as requested.
- Organizes, generates, prepares, and/or reviews documents, forms, packets, or brochures and routes them to the appropriate parties, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
- Prepares Personnel Change Request (PCR) forms for personnel actions and payroll changes, applicable to the HR division responsible for completion.
- Provides exceptional customer service, both internally and externally, regarding inquiries related to assigned HR functional area.
- Prepares correspondence and provides accurate and detailed information. Answers and directs incoming communication, including greeting and assisting visitors. Answers human resources-related questions and escalates to appropriate divisions/departments as needed.
- As assigned, assists with coordinating HR programs, policies, procedures, or initiatives commensurate with coordinator-level work.
- Participates in workgroups, committees, special projects, and events as requested.

- Working knowledge of general HR principles and practices.

- Must possess a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to coordinate, manage, and prioritize multiple projects or tasks, with accuracy, using professional judgment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to navigate multiple HR functions and adapt to changing departmental needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact with employees, candidates, outside agencies, and the public with courtesy and tact.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment. Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite and HR databases.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Two years of Human Resources or related experience.
- Associate’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of the required experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field may substitute for the required experience.

Pay
Hiring Rate: $30.50 hourly
Schedule
This position requires working five (5) hours per day, Tuesday through Thursday, with the required hours scheduled between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. Additional hours may be available based on department and/or team needs, up to a maximum of 29 hours per week. While some flexibility may be available when scheduling additional hours, all work hours will be determined based on operational and team needs.
