About the Role

Yellowstone Club is a private residential community in Big Sky, Montana, offering its members the world’s only private ski and golf community. Our employees make the Yellowstone Club experience come alive by providing the highest level of guest service and ensuring no detail is too small to overlook. The HR Coordinator is a full-time, year-round position located in Big Sky, Montana, serving as the face of Human Resources and the first point of contact for Club employees, applicants, and guests.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure outstanding guest service by greeting and acknowledging every Member and guest, maintaining service standards, and displaying hospitality and professionalism.
  • Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure environment for employees, Members, and guests.
  • Address issues raised by current employees and new-hires.
  • Organize and schedule orientations for new employees.
  • File papers and documents into appropriate employee files; prepare bus and property/parking access passes.
  • Assist with the Ski Pass Program and LSA Program.
  • Prepare correspondence and process external and inter-office mail.
  • Maintain the employee communication system, keeping it current, relevant, and timely.
  • Assist with Worker’s Compensation and Unemployment Claims.
  • Support the Vice President, Director, Managers, and Recruiters with various projects and tasks.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources team members across LMLC Operations LLC.
  • Perform duties in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with Club policies and standards.
  • Maintain a positive, respectful attitude and treat all individuals with professionalism and respect.
  • Coordinate seasonal activities such as employee appreciation parties, blood drives, and flu shot clinics.
  • Order office supplies and maintain office cleanliness and organization.
  • Maintain the driver’s license master list for all departments, ensuring it is complete and ready for insurance purposes each July.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, and/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and hiring processes (preferred).
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to speak and write clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, and vendors.
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; long hours may be required due to business demands.

Work Environment

The role is primarily performed in a climate-controlled environment, though occasional outdoor work may be required in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind, snow).

Physical Demands

  • Occasionally required to walk, use hands and arms, and lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Frequently required to talk and hear.
  • Constantly required to use vision for tasks such as preparing data, viewing a computer terminal, and ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Constantly required to sit for extended periods and use hands and fingers to operate a computer.
