Human Resources Coordinator
Summary of Position
The HR Coordinator serves as the primary execution arm of the HR function, supporting employees and leaders with onboarding, benefits, HR processes, and day-to-day HR needs. This role is highly visible on the floor and ensures a consistent, efficient, and positive employee experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead all onboarding activities including orientation, new hire paperwork, system entry, and day-one experience
Partner with hiring managers to ensure smooth integration into teams
Manage offboarding processes including exit documentation and coordination with Payroll and IT
Ensure all employee changes (transfers, promotions, status changes) are processed accurately
Serve as the go-to resource for employee benefits questions
Support benefits enrollment, changes, and employee education
Partner with corporate benefits team to ensure accurate and timely processing
Aid in leave administration coordination (FMLA, LOA tracking, etc.)
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS
Ensure accuracy of employee data, transactions, and documentation
Generate reports (headcount, turnover, attendance trends, etc.)
Support HRIS improvements and data integrity initiatives
Care for recruitment and hiring support
Coordinate interviews, scheduling, and candidate communication
Support onboarding for high-volume roles
Maintain applicant tracking accuracy and communication timelines
Act as a first point of contact for employees for HR-related questions
Provide hands-on support on the production floor for HR needs
Identify trends or concerns and escalate appropriately to HRBP
Maintain compliance records (I-9s, EEO, audits, etc.)
Ensure proper documentation and adherence to policies
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling HR meetings, interviews, and training sessions
Aid in coordination of HR processes and workflows
Assist HRBP with reporting, tracking, and execution of initiatives
Partner with HR Administrator on employee events and engagement activities
Support execution/logistics of events (HR Admin owns strategy and planning)
Education & Skills Requirements
Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
1–3 years of experience in an HR support, coordinator, or administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced or high-volume environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to quickly learn HR systems and tools
Experience with HRIS systems and maintaining accurate employee data preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks efficiently
High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and follow-through
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to support and interact with employees at all levels
Customer-service mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to employee support
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
