Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS in compliance with healthcare and labor regulations
  • Track employee status changes, certifications, and required documentation
  • Serve as a first point of contact for routine HR-related questions from staff
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including healthcare-specific requirements
  • Track mandatory trainings such as HIPAA, OSHA, harassment prevention, and safety training
  • Auxiliary with audits and documentation requests as needed
  • Auxiliary with background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment requirements
  • Auxiliary with benefits enrollment, changes, and questions
  • Auxiliary with benefits providers and brokers
  • Auxiliary with performance review cycles, including scheduling, documentation, and tracking completion
  • Maintain performance evaluation records and ensure timely follow-ups
  • Auxiliary with corrective action and disciplinary documentation in coordination with HR leadership
  • Auxiliary with tracking employee goals, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and related outcomes
  • Prepare HR reports related to headcount, turnover, attendance, and performance metrics
  • Auxiliary with employee engagement, wellness, and retention initiatives
  • Auxiliary with special projects and process improvements

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of HR administrative experience required
  • Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems
  • Experience supporting benefits or performance management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • SHRM or HR certification (a plus, not required)
