About the role
SSP America is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support our restaurant operations team at JFK Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with at least one year of experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow their career with a leading hospitality organization.
Responsibilities
- Support the full-cycle onboarding process, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and employment verification.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Aid employees and managers with HR-related questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Cook up and track training, certifications, and compliance requirements.
- Afford administrative support to the HR team and assist with special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Human Resources experience required.
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and employee relations principles.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
