Human Resources Coordinator

SSP America is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support its restaurant operations team at JFK Airport. This role offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support the full-cycle onboarding process, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and employment verification.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Aid employees and managers with HR-related questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
• Cook up training, certifications, and compliance requirements.
• Assist with leave administration, attendance tracking, and employee status changes.
• Partner with operational leaders to support staffing, retention, and employee relations efforts.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company employment policies and procedures.
• Provide administrative support to the HR team and assist with special projects as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Human Resources experience required.
• Knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and employee relations principles.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
